This is a call to action, a statement of empowerment. Our society has planted the seeds of misogyny, racism, and homophobia, these are learned traits of hate and ignorance, we can learn to love, and accept each other, be informed by the strength and knowledge that comes with femininity and love. “be femme”

this is a piece of monumental proportions both in size and spirit. most of my oil paintings thus far shine naturally with a glossy finish, with this one I used a heavy amount of cold wax, and knife work, to manipulate the cerulean oil pigments to a deep and wonderfully textured matte finish, the end product truly demands attention. my belief is that how much knowledge we share and how much love we embrace should be the only gauge of human success. With true empathy, the possibility of sharing love and knowledge multiplies infinitely. “be empathy”
